I Can't Help It If I Fear Change.

By the way, Blogger is now informing me that their new version is out of beta and ready for use and that I should switch to it, but I can't help but feel a little nervous, especially as I recall people who were using it while it was still in beta complaining about it rather loudly.

Is anybody out there currently using the new version of Blogger? How different is it?

  1. Really? Blogger's not telling me that. I didn't know there was a new version.

My feeling is, if it ain't broke, why go breaking it?

Still, there are a number of things that Blogger can't do, or can't do easily. If the new version can, it might be worth checking out.

  2. Yeah, when I go to my Dashboard, it says "Your new version of Blogger is ready!" And there are things that can certainly stand to be improved... If the new version has a decent spellchecker, that might be enough of an incentive to me, right there.

  3. It has begun to smoothe itself out, though I still have problems pulling stuff from Youtube. The problem is that beta really was too R&D for my tatses. If a car company were to do what Blogger did with its customers, I'd have some hefty hospital bills.

  6. Hmm, well, that sounds encouraging, at least. I'd say this is probably one of those situations where no news is good news. It implies that at least it ain't too badly broken.

  7. It was a pain in the ass to start with, though. It was nigh impossible to make comments for a while.

  8. Well, having used ennetation for all that time, I'm entirely familiar with it being nigh impossible to make comments...
