I fell asleep last night about about 2 AM -- a reasonable hour for my current work schedule -- and then woke up at 6:30 and could not get back to sleep. Bah. As a consequence, I'm pretty sure this is a "lie around on the sofa drinking tea and reading, with occasional breaks for DVDs and comfort food" kind of a day, not a "drive an hour and a half round trip through the desert to see a movie that's doubtless going to get me all worked up one way or another" kind of day.
In other words, no Star Trek for me. Next weekend, probably.

Are you planning on seeing it in Los Lunas, or up here in a real town? ;) If you're coming up here give me a shout and we'll grab some coffee and you can meet the Mrs.
ReplyDeleteI was just figuring on driving up to Los Lunas, but making a day of it in Abq might not be a bad idea. It'll probably depend on what else I'm doing next weekend, though, how late I'm sleeping, and how much ambition I have.

ReplyDeleteI'm on evening shifts this week (which is annoying, because otherwise I'd just catch it during the week), and then I'm on nights starting next Monday. Which means I might be sleeping until afternoon and just come up for a late showing... Except that, as you can see from this post, I've been waking up too damned early a lot lately whether I mean to or not, so who knows?
