How Many Bettys Does It Take to Change a Light Bulb?

My accomplishment for the day: successfully replacing a burned-out bulb in my car's tail light. Which I know sounds like an utterly ridiculous thing to brag about: I changed a light bulb! But given my extreme ignorance of and insecurity around things automotive, hey, I call it an accomplishment. Not least of all because I did it entirely by myself, and, you know, checking the operation of your brake lights without help requires a bit of ingenuity. (I used a heavy tool box and a hammer.) I don't know why I have this weird obsession about doing even obvious two-man jobs by myself. I mean, it's not like I couldn't have found someone to tell me, "Yeah, the light's on now." But, somehow, I have this massive mental block against asking people for help with stuff like this. On the upside, though, the credit for changing that bulb is all mine! Ha!
