House Hunt, Step One

Well, I now have a loan application to fill out. Go me!

When I talked to the real estate agent, she told me I'd need to bring information about whatever loans I already had. When I told her I currently had none whatsoever, she laughed. "That's un-American!"

"I know," I said. "I'm completely debt-free at the moment, and I can't stand it, so I need a mortgage."
