Mickey Pics!

I promised someone I'd take some more pictures of Mickey before he left. (Which is not for a few days, by the way. Mom's coming out today, and will spend some time here getting to know the little guy before leaving with him on Monday.) He's still hard to take pictures of because he moves around so much, but I made a few attempts.

Here he is chasing his tail, which is hilarious to watch (although slightly less so in still photo form):

    He is fierce, indeed! He's also a mighty hunter of bugs. As I told me mother, sure, she's taking the useful cat. None of the others got the memo about how they're supposed to be doing vermin control, apparently. :)

    And I hope they will be happy. I bet they will. He's a sweetheart, really, and I know she'll take good care of him.

    Somehow, in my grad school induced exhaustion, I read "donkey pics".
    Mickey is much cuter...and much less disturbing :)

    Sort of. He's not acting seriously afraid of her, but he is kind of wary, and he won't come up and let her pet him. He's more likely to just take off. Poor kitty. I think he'll get over it, though.
