I Want The Hiro Nakamura Time-Stopping Ability.

Note to self: Never say things like, "Oh, I don't think I'll be too busy this week." It pretty much guarantees that come Friday you'll be blinking like a cartoon owl and asking where the heck all that time just went.

Note to anyone who's asked me to do something recently: It'll happen eventually. Promise. After all, next week doesn't look too bu-- Oh, crap.

  2. How about this bit o' news:

    Billie Is Back!

Rose Tyler returns for Series Four.

Following a series of unconfirmed reports across the media this morning, we're delighted to officially confirm that Billie Piper will return as Rose Tyler in Series Four of Doctor Who.

Anything you may read elsewhere about when, how or for how long Rose returns to Doctor Who should be treated as pure speculation at this point.

  3. Yes, I've seen that news. Not sure how I feel about it, as I really didn't think Rose worked well with Tennant's Doctor, or that her storyline was handled very well, and was glad enough to see her go, to be honest. On the other hand, it is certainly possible to bring her back and do something interesting with her. My own "pure speculation" is that we'll probably only see her for an episode or two, anyway.

  4. Martha rocks immensely. And she's supposed to be back for a few episodes of Who next season, too, as well as showing up on Torchwood.

  5. Martha is more educated and mature than Rose. Her medical studies and use of that knowledge worked well with Tennants`s Doctor.

  6. Agreed. I also think she's a better match, emotionally. Eccleston's Doctor was more subdued, and sometimes needed someone to spur his enthusiasm. Doctor Number Ten, though, manic bundle of energy that he is, desperately needs someone to ground him a bit.

  7. Agreed. I got sick of all the googly-eyed puppy love, frankly. Martha was a great replacement. I sm looking forward to seeing what they do with Donna as the companion for the first half.

  8. So am I. A good slapping once in a while may well be a perfectly workable way of grounding him. :)

  9. I think Betty would like to slap him somewhere.....:) Or is that just Captain Jack

  10. Wait, is Captain Jack the subject or the object in that second part? Well, either way, I suppose the answer is "yes." :)
