The Weather Gods Hate Me.

Most of the month it's been sunny and pleasant here, often warm enough during the day to go outside in short sleeves. Today, when I have to drive to Albuquerque to pick people up at the airport, they're predicting snow. Sigh.

  3. Yeah, Utah apparently send us the Cold Front from Hell. Thanks, Utah. :(

It's definitely snowing now, and it's sticking... I'm not entirely sure I'm going to be able to make it up to get them, actually. The roads here in NM get really bad when it snows.

Btw... Do you have dad's cell phone #? He sent me one, but when I tried calling it, I get voicemail for someone who's name I can't make out, but which doesn't sound like his. If you do, e-mail it to me so I can see if it's the same one I have. (I'll send you an e-mail if I don't hear from you... I don't expect you to check my blog comments every few minutes, really. :))

I did get Janice's phone and left a message warning her there might be a problem. I hope she checks her voicemail.

  4. but Betty! It's soooo beautiful here! And it's not sticking to the roads. Just drive like a rational human being (unlike most NM drivers) and you'll be fine.

  5. It is kinda pretty. But I'd have been much happier if it'd waited until tomorrow. :)

Anyway, it has almost stopped here and, yeah, isn't sticking to the roads (although I might worry about them being icy when I'm driving back tonight). If it's not any worse in Albuquerque than it is here, and doesn't get any worse, I will be fine.

  6. *Smirks* "Snow"? What's "snow"? (I love doing that to people up north.) Of course, being your Satanic Brother from Hell, I guess it's apropos for me to live in Las Cruces.

  8. Yep! The roads were absoutely fine, and most of the snow had melted before I even left.
