And I Was Doing So Well There For A While

I went to the Friends of the Library book sale. Correction: I went to the pre-book-sale book sale, where you have to buy a membership just to get in.

I bought eleven books.

I am doomed. Utterly hopeless, and utterly doomed. Somebody needs to lock me in a room for a year and make me do nothing but read. Although even then I wouldn't be caught up.

  1. Well there is an alternative. Every book you buy means 1->2 books have to leave the house. And any book which gets brought in/bought without that means 3 get sent to a shredder and you have to watch. [Ugh no thats too much like a SAW movie for bibliophiles..]

  2. What you need is someone to hold your hand, pat you on the back, and tell you you're okay, really. Oh, and fix you a mug of hot chocolate and munchies to nibble on when you read. (Darn it, now I'm hungry.)

  3. I'm not sure it would help the "too many books" situation, but it sounds good, anyway. Man, now I'm hungry, too. :)
