But It's A Dry Heat! A Drought-Stricken, Mummifyingly Dry Heat.

Ah, summer in New Mexico!

Yesterday's high: 103 degrees.

Today's projected high: 103 degrees.

Total rainfall this year so far: Less than half an inch.

Sometimes I wonder why people even live here. Or, for that matter, how.

  1. It had been in the low 80's here for a while before jumping to 97 yesterday and today -- but at least there are no tornadoes forecast for this week!

    1. The Weather Channel website had a big red banner at the top today warning about winds and storms and hail in the middle section of the country, but it looks like it's all very much north of you. I'm glad for once the scary weather is passing you by!
