Things That Befuddle Me, #1,475,926

How is it that no matter how carefully I check all the pockets, there always seem to be bits of shredded kleenex in my laundry at the end of the wash cycle? Are the tissues coming from the same place that socks disappear to?

    That would explain it, wouldn't it? Some kind of modern-day alchemy, turning socks into kleenex...

    I was imagining some sort of interdimensional portal, but alchemy might explain it, too. :)
