Things that are happening this weekend: a new Doctor Who episode written by Neil Gaiman, the eagerly anticipated season finale of Once Upon a Time, a huge library sale in Albuquerque, Mother's Day (meaning it would be good if I could at least give my mom a call), and probably still more nice weather.
Things I am doing this weekend: working twelve hour shifts and, hopefully, sleeping.
Sigh.

You'll still call your mom, though, right?
ReplyDeleteIf I have time. I did send her a card. :)
DeleteI was kind of unimpressed by Gaiman's second Who episode. Some nice moments, but no The Doctor's Wife. Which is maybe unfair, but still.
ReplyDeleteI sort of loved it, or at least liked it a heck of a lot. But then, I wasn't really comparing it to "The Doctor's Wife," that being a standard I don't really ever expect anything to live up to. :)
DeleteI may have to watch it again, but I found it almost remarkably nothing special.
ReplyDeleteI thought the dialog and setting was fun, the visuals were great, the supporting characters good, Matt Smith's performance excellent, and the new version of the Cybermen both interesting and actually kind of scary.
